About Dana

Dana is the Founder and Executive Director of

The I Am House

which is a transitional support community for

women who have survived domestic abuse.

As a teacher, world traveler, and advocate against domestic violence,

Dana found her purpose in helping women who have experienced what she had to go through.

Dana was first introduced to a lifestyle of abuse at a very young age. She didn't however become a personal victim of abuse until high school.

Dealing with unhealthy relationships and abuse going into her adulthood led to her divorce, low self-esteem, and confidence, among other things. Losing herself and having to re-connect with God led her to a place of identity and the birthing of
The I Am House.

Dana is dedicated to helping women break free from their current situations and live a better life. She has built a community that not only encourages but affirms women so they can feel love, self-worth, and fulfillment again.

Her story of being enough and chosen by God fuels her commitment to helping victims & survivors embrace who God called them to be. Her greatest desire is that other women who have gone through abuse see themselves how God sees them and know that they are not alone.
